Hayes Pipe offers “hands-on” training for all new sales and management personnel. Our training program starts with the trainee having an introductory period in our warehouse. Inside Sales / Customer Service

Hayes Pipe Supply, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for an Inside Sales/Customer Service Specialist in our Lake Helen (Orlando), Florida location.

We are looking for a career-minded individual seeking a long-term career opportunity with a growth-oriented company. Waterworks, plumbing, construction or similar industry experience required and blueprint take-off experience is a plus. Candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and customer minded with excellent communications skills, computer skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Salary negotiable DOE

  • Provide inside sales support for our outside sales team
  • Assist customers and identify needs, product knowledge assistance, assist in delivery scheduling, special orders, etc.
  • Assist in full life cycle of sales: creating quotes, entering orders, scheduling directs, working with vendors on scheduling deliveries and ordering special materials, etc.

Requirements:
1-2 years minimum experience in a similar industry.

Hayes Pipe Supply, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for an experienced warehouse person to perform warehouse activities in our LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY location. This is a “do it all" position that will participate in all aspects of warehouse duties including material handling, waiting on customers, managing truck loads and deliveries, making local deliveries, etc. Growth opportunities available as branch is growing.

Class B CDL and distribution experience required. Must be able to lift +/- 50 pounds.

Sales / Estimator Assistant

Hayes Pipe Supply, Inc. is seeking a talented and self-motivated Sales Assistant / Estimator Assistant for busy waterworks distribution company in our Tampa, Florida location. This job would be similar to a Project Coordinator in a Construction Estimator’s office. This role will assist the Branch Manager in job file maintenance, take-off assistance, quotation input and distribution and general job management. Additional duties and special projects may also be assigned.

Salary negotiable DOE

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Working with quotations from take-off assistance, entry, pricing, vendor communication to order entry and maintenance
  • Organizes documentation, sets up and maintains job files and records
  • Ensures that Utility District Specification information and other records are up-to-date

Requirements

  • Must be able to follow instructions and directions to perform job tasks.
  • At least three years relevant experience.
  • Possesses excellent command of English language including both verbal and written skills.
  • Good organizational skills, precise attention to detail and follow up capabilities are a must.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in operating personal computers and performing routine calculations.
  • Proficiency required in the use of Microsoft Windows applications: Word, Excel and Outlook; AS400 experience a plus
  • Construction industry/distribution industry experience a plus; Knowledge of blueprints/take-offs a definite plus
